God Keeps All Of His Word

 

Today's verse is Genesis 43:26

And when Joseph came home, they brought him the present which was in their hand into the house, and bowed themselves to him to the earth. 

    Joseph had two dreams. The first shewed that his brothers would bow down to him. This verse shows the fulfillment of that first dream. God through Moses has given us two ways to test whether a prophet is a true prophet, whether the word he speaks is God’s Word. First, is it consistent with the worship of God and God alone. For when such comes to pass or not, God is God alone, and nothing should convince us otherwise. The second, is the word given faithful, is it true, does it come to pass. For the God we serve knows all, even the end from even before time began. Therefore, if God has said it, we can be sure of it, whatever it is God has said. So remember, Jesus has promised to return and set up his kingdom, so let us therefore Watch, and be ready. Ready to testify both by word, and by deed, of the matchless Love God has for all, especially for those that believe. Amen.
