The Faith That Saves

Today's verse is Mark 10:52
And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

Faith, an interesting word. I would say that the best lesson on faith that I have ever learned is: Faith is only as good as its object. And there is only one that will never fail. Whether your faith is great, or near fleeting, does not matter, but that you act upon it, and that which you act upon, that is what you believe (a synonym of faith.) So, examine yourself, of what is your faith? Does in include Jesus Christ? Who he is, What he has done for you? Or, is it in other things, such as your own labor, or other things equally as vain? Only you can determine these things, and only you can chose even today, if you will Trust him that is true, and as Bartimaeus, who is no longer blind, receive the blessing of God. Amen.
