The Difference Between Working And Hearing

 

Today's verse is Galatians 3:2

This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

    On what is your hope of eternal life? Do you have a hope for eternal life? How do you measure the worth of your life? Is it by what you have done? Scripture [the bible] is clear, the best we can do is only but vanity in the eyes of God. Or is it by what another has done for you? And not just by any other, but what Jesus Christ has done, having taken your place, having been judged by the Father in your stead. Rising up the third day, proving that he is truly the innocent one having suffered for the guilty, so that all that come to him are washed in his blood, their sins paid in full by his work upon the Cross. Again, I ask, which is your Hope of eternal life? Amen.
