Today's verse is Psalm 90:12-13
So teach us to number our days,
That we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
Return, O LORD, how long?
And let it repent thee concerning thy servants.
Earlier in this very same Psalm, the Psalmist recognizes that God is not constrained by time. Yet we as his creatures are, and as our God he is not only aware of this, but knows it. So much so, that the psalmist asks God help that he might have the wisdom to realize it himself. So, do not fret, our God knows our limits, so though it may seem like he delays, he does not, but he knows the perfect time for all things, and at the perfect time he will act. Moses lived till his job was done, as did Joseph, and Daniel. Do not forget Anna and Simeon, not to mention Abraham and Sarah. So be still, and know that He is God, and at the appointed time you too shall see him Glorified. Amen.
To God be the Glory
Scott
