Today's Verse is Psalm 28:1
Unto thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me:
Lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.
In the times that God appears to be silent, when it seems that his pretense is not with us, what should we do? David’s answer here, was to continue to cry unto him, to continue to make supplications, until once again he saw evidence that the Lord his God was working in his life. In my own life, there did seem long periods when God was present, but in looking back, it was not that he was not present, but that I could not see. So, if it seems to you that the Lord your God is silent, continue to Trust in him, continue to Hope in him, and continue to make your requests of him, seeking him diligently, for in due time, you will once again see that he has always been faithful, and that he has, has as he had promised, did not forsake you. Amen.
To God be the Glory
