Today's verse is Psalm 15:1-2
LORD, Who shall abide in thy tabernacle?
Who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness,
And speaketh the truth in his heart.
Some would say, “Why do I want to abide in the Tabernacle of God?” Are you seeking pleasure? Twice in my reading today, pleasure, true pleasure, is associated with abiding with God, and knowing his goodness, and accomplishing his work. I can testify, that when God is present, there is joy, there is pleasure, and his presence is pleasant even in the midst of turmoil. What is the first step toward the pleasure found in abiding with God and his Son, Jesus Christ? Seek the truth and forsake lies. Did not Jesus Christ promise: Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Amen.
To God be the Glory
