Remember The Name Of God!

 

Today's verse is Psalm 20:7

     Some trust in chariots, and some in horses:

      But we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

    What is it to remember the name of the Lord our God? In the next psalm, David thanks God for the blessings he has given him, but in the same psalm, David remembers what God does to the Wicked. You do not want to be counted among their number! But Paul tells Timothy to pray for all, with the hope that all men might be saved, coming to the knowledge of the truth. This is what it is to remember the name of God. To know him, to know his character, and if you truly know these things, how can you not Trust him. Amen.
