When God Cannot Be Found

Today's verse is Psalm 78:60
     So that he forsook the tabernacle of Shiloh,
      The tent which he placed among men;

  Yesterday, we looked at how God spares his people, but sometimes, we that are his, attempt to leave him. At such times, he makes it appear that we have been successful, and when we think we are looking for him, we cannot find him, even where we know he should be found. At such times I will not tell you to fear not, even though I have found him then, to be right behind me, for there is much to fear, for while God does not punish his own, his discipline is severe, even your life my be in the balance. So whether you know you are in such a place, or just suspect it, it is a good time to repent; but, and if repentance cannot be found, ask for it, and he will hear, and in due time, he will show the way. Amen.

To God be the Glory
