Looking For That Day

 

Today's verse is 2 Timothy 4:8

Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

   Paul, tells us that there is a reward for all that love the appearing of Jesus Christ. John, tells us that those that hope to see Jesus in that day purifies himself, even as Christ is pure. Why? Because we know when he comes back, he comes to Judge. He comes to set right all that is wrong. To punish those that have set themselves against him, and to reward all those that have trusted in him. And all this will be done according to the things we have done (our works.) So we have a reason to Fear, and a reason to Hope, For he will not come back when all will rejoice to see him, but when most will curse that day. So Today, let us rejoice, and remember to be faithful, for in a truth, He will Return. Amen.
