Today's verse is Psalm 80:19
Turn us again, O LORD God of hosts,
Cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
When oppression is rampant, when all about is turmoil and strife: Look and see, is God remembered? Is God known among the people? Are is ways observed? If not, now is a good time to pray this prayer! Now is a good time to first examine ourselves, and see if there be any wicked way in us, and turn ourselves to the Great and merciful God for those that seek him, but for those that refuse him, he is terrible and fearsome, and even we that have found grace in his sight, should fear him. So, Turn us again, O Lord of hosts, Cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved. Amen.
