To Love God, And To Know His Name

Today's verse is Psalm 91:14
Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him:
I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

As we look about us, even as we search the scriptures, we find that it is an easy thing to set our affections on even the vainest of things, before we even consider the Lord our God, whom we have loved at one time or another. But only in him will we be established, and in him we will find strength, not to mention, by him we shall be delivered from whatever trouble or turmoil the world has decided to create for us today. And here I find the reason that I have been asking my God to teach me his Name. Let us not forget that there is a reward for trusting in the Lord our God, whatever might appear to be coming our way. Selah [Think on these things.] Amen.

To God be the Glory
