Today's verse is Psalm 75:7
But God is the judge:
He putteth down one, and setteth up another.
The God that created Heaven and Earth is truly to be feared, Yea, Terrified of, and when we transgress, a price must be paid. We can be thankful if all of that price is covered by the blood of the Lamb of God, but at all times we must reap what we sow. What I do next, I do with great tribulation. Last week, my Pastor resigned as the Pastor of my church for an unnamed sin, confessing that he had sinned, and indicating that he was seeking to repent. To him I say, I forgive you. My God has given me a promise, and you have given me far more than a cup of cold water, and I choose to remember you for that. I accept your resignation. May your current sojourn in darkness be as short as possible.
Now as he has been put down, God is able, and is willing, to raise up another to shepherd us in representing our Savior. Amen.
To God be the Glory
