Today's verse is 1 Timothy 4:10
For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
Before handling this verse, the “therefore” mentioned here, I believe is referring back to the profitability of living a godly life, in contrast to the pleasures of sin for a season. So it is this that makes up at least a part of Paul’s motivation to face another day, to do what is necessary, even to suffer whatever the scorn of others might produce in objection to the message he proclaims which is born by his trust in God, and further motivated by God’s care for all that are lost, not just those that believe, but specially for those that believe. Amen.
