To Help You Grow

Today's verse is 1 Corinthians 3:22-23
     Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;
     And ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s.

    In this passage I am seeing a marvel. An all inclusive list of things that have been given to us to aid us with our walk with God. Of note, Paul starts with a diverse list of faithful teachers of God’s Word. Paul and Cephas (Peter) are both Apostles, but Apollos is not, but he is a minister of the Word. Now, also we must consider that we are told this after we are admonished not to hold any man in too mush esteem. For we also have the same access to understanding God’s Word than does any other man, for all true Wisdom, All true Knowledge, All true Judgment, comes from God. But we are to count all things that come into our lives as an opportunity to learn of our God, whether that thing seems to be good or evil, your God sent it into your life having with love, according to his wisdom, that by it you might learn a new aspect that you had never seen before of God, that when he is finished, you are closer to him then you have ever been before. Amen.

To God be the Glory
