Today's verse is I Corinthians 10:24
Let no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth.
Have we not all heard another boast, “I must look out for number one!” sometimes expanding it with, “For no one else will.” Well that is one who has not found Jesus Christ. For consider also, “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.” The best way to understand this is: Because God is my God, I know that he guides my steps, so whatever comes my way, Good, or Bad, I will trust him for I know that all is to a purpose and nothing I suffer will be in vain, and finally, God always pays his debts. Therefore, I do not need to lookout for me, God has my back, so I can concern myself to what my neighbor needs and seek to lift him up and shew him what God has for him. Selah [Think on This.] Amen.
To God be the Glory
