Today's verse is Psalm 10:6
He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved:
For I shall never be in adversity.
Such is the thought of the one that knows not God. Even as we read the prayer of the Lord Jesus, who acknowledged that the world in which we live hates us, for they hate the one we serve, they proclaim themselves above adversity, and free of all strife, not knowing that as they walk contrary to the God of Love, they heap unto themselves wrath from the same, for as we learn in Hebrews, Love must correct her own, of which they have no part. Therefore, having no part in Love, their own ways shall consume them as they fall to their own devises, unless the Lord himself cuts short their ways. Amen.
