Can It Be Done, Or Can't It

Today's verse is Numbers 13:30-31
And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.
But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.

Is there something that God has directed you to do? Is it something that appears too hard, possibly too painful for you to do, or bare? As our Saviour has said, “for without me ye can do nothing.” So if you attempt to do it on your own, It is. But anything done by our own strength is an abomination to a Most Holy God. God is not asking you to do this thing alone. In Fact, He is asking you to allow him to do it through you. Consider what Paul testified, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Then also consider what Jesus has done for you. Is he Worthy? Compared to what Jesus has done for you, Is it really unreasonable for him to ask this of you? So surrender to him, keep your eyes upon him, and the Joy he has set before you, and as you do this, he will amaze you at what he does through and around you. Amen.

To God be the Glory
