Discontentment

Today's verse is Numbers 11:10
Then Moses heard the people weep throughout their families, every man in the door of his tent: and the anger of the LORD was kindled greatly; Moses also was displeased.

Today, consider all that your God has done for you, and do not as the Children of Israel here. God brought them out of oppression, he provided for them daily, their clothes, even their shoes did not wear out, he gave them clear guidance of when and where to camp, he gave them the law, that they may know how to treat each other as well as how to approach God, yet they were not satisfied. Paul has testified to us: “Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.” Do you not like the conditions that you find yourself in? Take care, and know that God is God, and first be thankful you are not in a worse state, then examine yourself and see if you have invited the problems you face, ready to repent, but if not that, then know that God has a purpose, and if you are patient you shall find yourself amazed at the Glory of God that loves you. Amen.
