Today's verse is Psalm 19:11
Moreover by them is thy servant warned:
And in keeping of them there is great reward.
What is them? “Them” refers back to the law, testimony, statutes, commandments, fear, and judgment of the Lord, otherwise known as the Word of God, which also contains the promises of the Lord. Today, I also reread of Balak the son of Zippor, who was over the Moabites, and he, not knowing the promise of God to his people, brought upon himself that which he feared. He not knowing God, not being warned of God, feared the wrong thing, and lost his reward. But God did keep the promise to Moab, they were not utterly destroyed, for do we not know of Ruth, who took part in God’s greatest promise to mankind, the coming of the Savior? What has your God warned you of? What is the reward that is waiting for you? Selah [Think on these things.] Amen.
