Today's verse is Matthew 6:24
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
What, or who is your Master, some may say that they have no Master, but they lie, and do not recognize that all have some sort of principle that guides them, as it is said, every man has his price. Thus, what do you live for? Is it wealth? What of the praise of those about you? Who do you seek to please? and why? The answer to these questions will determine who your Master is. As we read on in this passage, whoever is your Master is who you need to seek provision, and no other, So as Elijah advised at mount Carmel, “Choose ye this day whom you will serve. If God be God serve him,” but if you be a slave of any other serve them. And let them provide for you. Amen.
To God be the Glory
