Today's verse is Matthew 7:7
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Before you take this verse and ask whatsoever you lust for (not forbidden) first consider the context. Earlier, we were taught that we are to first seek the kingdom of God, and his Righteousness, it is in this context that we are also not to judge lest we be judged, for outside of Jesus Christ and his Righteousness we are all guilty in God’s sight. So consider that when you ask, in asking are you first seeking God’s kingdom? All that ask Jesus Christ for forgiveness of their sin, shall be forgiven, all that seek the Righteousness provided by Christ shall find it, and all that knock on the door that is Jesus Christ will be granted entry. Now, allowing these things to be true, and you are asking for the things to aid you in your service to his Kingdom, you can know, not guess, that at the proper time your requests will be granted. Amen.
To God be the Glory
