Today's verse is 2 Chronicles 15:3-4
Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law.
But when they in their trouble did turn unto the LORD God of Israel, and sought him, he was found of them.
Of a truth, as it was for Israel, so also is it for the Untied States, and I would not be surprised if other countries can also be so described. However, even though as a nation we do not know God, if we do as Israel did from time to time and seek out God at this time, as Israel then found him, so also will we. So as we see the darkness about us, let us not blame God for the ills that we see, but rather, repent of our sin, and turn to him, and may hap, if enough of us do this, we shall escape the destruction that has been set before us, as Nineveh did at the preaching of Jonah. Selah [Think about this.] Amen.
To God be the Glory
