Today's verse is 2 Kings 5:11
But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.
Rarely, when we expect God to act, will he do so the way we expect. However, I have found that if I am patient, following to the best of my ability the counsel of his Word (for best results) that he does indeed act, always at the proper time, and always in a way that magnifies not only his Name, but the fruit that may be gained. So let us learn our lesson from Naaman, and be humble doing that which our God as led us to do, and we shall see his work in us in due course as he is glorified as he was in Naaman. Amen.
To God be the Glory
Scott
