To Understand Judgment.

 

Today's Verse is Proverbs 28:5

     Evil men understand not judgment:

      But they that seek the LORD understand all things.

    Another way to understand this are the proverbs: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. And as is stated in another way: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: And the knowledge of the holy is understanding. As we learn of the Lord our God, yea as we seek him, and we learn of his ways, as another continuously says, “There is a God, and we are not him,” we find that we gain in both knowledge and wisdom. Evil men however, building themselves up falling into the trap of pride think they are the hero of their own story and they are the arbiters of their fate, and being full of themselves fail to realize that they too will have to answer to the one that made them, and by (believe it or not) the mercy of God, shall be destroyed by their own counsel. Amen.
