A Word Of Warning, And A Word Of Hope

 

Today's verse is Acts 28:15

And from thence, when the brethren heard of us, they came to meet us as far as Appii forum, and The three taverns: whom when Paul saw, he thanked God, and took courage. 

    I had thought to share with you a warning of being angry, but not acting as found of David in this verse: But when king David heard of all these things, he was very wroth. Eli, the failed High Priest and Judge, did more than David here. But rather, we see Paul taking courage, by seeing those that also know Christ come to met him, and welcome him to Rome. So, as we are obedient to share the Gospel with others, though we find that hard times come, let us keep our eyes open, for as Paul found here and received, God gives us reason to continue to Hope in him, for his mercies are new every morning. Amen.
