Today's verse is Romans 2:5
But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
One might ask, "How is the verse given, an encouragement?" David, as he fled from Saul, then having landed before Abimelech and escaping from him admonished us all: O fear the Lord, ye his saints: /For there is no want to them that fear him. Part of what it is to fear God, is to know that there is a judgment coming, while it is true, that this judgment will have its major end at the Great White Throne, it begins not in Heaven but here on Earth, for the wrath of God may include Hell and the Lake of Fire, but there is no doubt, that it has its true pinnacle just after the seventh trumpet blows, announcing the beginning of the third woe, which declares the beginning of God’s Kingdom here on Earth. Will you then fear; seeking the one that comes; purifying yourself even as he is pure? Amen.
To God be the Glory
