Today's Verse is Romans 7:6
But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
The law has taught us that we of ourselves have no ability to please a Holy God. Therefore, as Christ, having died in our place, paying for our sin, rose up from the grave, he sent unto his Spirit, that by submitting unto him, we might then be able to obey the new commandment to Love one another (which actually embodies the whole of the law) until we shall be made new when we will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. Amen.
