Today's verse is Psalm 31:1
In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust;
Let me never be ashamed:
Deliver me in thy righteousness.
When considering this verse, we must ask, “Where does shame come from?” When we see Adam and Eve, they were not ashamed until they had eaten of that tree that was forbidden. Therefore, we can conclude that shame comes from sin, from disobedience to the Father, even the one that Created us. So that, when we begin to walk with him, stumbling as we might, placing our trust, even our confidence in him, allowing him to conform us into the image of his Son, Truly we shall have nothing to be ashamed of, being delivered by him unto His Righteousness. Amen.
To God be the Glory
