Today's verse is Psalm 110:1
The LORD said unto my Lord,
Sit thou at my right hand,
Until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
Today, I wish to offer you a challenge, even the same challenge that Jesus gave the Pharisees in his day. They, themselves, understood that Christ, that is the Messiah, should be the Son of David. Yet, Jesus asked them How then doth David in spirit call him Lord quoting the passage provided above, finishing with this question, If David then call him Lord, how is he his son? When I asked one that denied the deity of Christ, she proceeded to show how Jesus was descended from David, missing the point of the question. For Christ was indeed the Son of David, yet also the root of Jessie, David’s father. How so? While I will not give you the answer outright, here is the underlying premise of the question: Who is the lord, the father or the son? And God [the spirit] cannot lie. Selah [Find the Answer!] Amen.
To God be the Glory
