Today's verse is Numbers 11:14
I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me.
Have you ever felt that God has asked too much from you? Well, fret not, because he has! But not because he expects you to do all of it, but because he wants you to learn to depend upon him, has not Paul said, but our sufficiency is of God! And if you pay attention to the context, you will find that this burden was not a burden for Moses to bear alone, for as Moses’ father-in-law had counseled, so also did God command Moses to appoint leaders over the Children of Israel to share the burden. Just as we that are in Christ, are all members of the same body, and each of us have our own function in the body, having gifts from the Spirit according to the office God has appointed us. So, do you know what God has set before you? If not, be patient, be faithful to what you do know, and he will show you what he has for you, and when you do, rely fully upon him, and in due course, he will provide fellow labours, to walk with you till the work is done. Amen.
To God be the Glory
