Today's verse is Psalm 36:3
The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: He hath left off to be wise, and to do good.
Consider the testimony of Moses when God had told him that he was to destroy the Amorites and the kingdom of Bashan: Did you know that he first asked to pass peaceably through their land? He allowed them to condemn themselves, and set themselves up for destruction. In another place, in regards to Israel, we hear, And judgment is turned away backward, And justice standeth afar off: For truth is fallen in the street, And equity cannot enter. Was not Ahab condemned for giving mercy to Ben-hadad? Let us therefore, seek out the Lord our God who truly knows Judgment, and when to give Mercy, that in the season we now face we can give Grace to those that are truly Repentant, While also having Justice and Equity to all. Amen.
