How God Sees His Own

Today's verse is Numbers 23:21
He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, Neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: The LORD his God is with him, And the shout of a king is among them.

We know from reading Exodus and Numbers that God had much to accuse Israel of, for in their every step we have seen them murmur and complain, yet, just before this time, last year, I saw for the first time, that at a time when Israel had not water (again) rather than complain, It would appear that they sought out God, and he directed them to dig, and in digging they found the water God had promised them. Yet, consider this: that while we stumble often as we endeavor to walk with God, even as Israel did again after this, as we are found in Christ, God sees not us, but his Son in our stead. Therefore, take comfort, and fear (Did not Moab after this cause Israel to stumble once again) and seek out the Lord your God, Repeating and seeking his face daily that we lose not that reward he has prepared for your labours. Amen.

To God be the Glory
