"No Man Is An Island"

Today's verse is Romans 14:7
For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

Have you heard the saying, “No man is an island, Jack.” This we can be sure of, that as we live, we will affect, and be affected by others, and when all has been said or done, we will have to give to God an account of all of it. Do you know what happened to the servant that hid his Talent (or Stone) in the Earth? Some think that they will cause God to give them an accounting, but on that day they will learn that by definition God is Always Right, that is as we see in this passage, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. Therefore, on that day, what will you have to show for yourself. It is for this purpose I pray with David, Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. Amen.

To God be the Glory
Scott
