God Has Not Forgotten Israel

Today's verse is Romans 11:15
For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?

As I was meditating and working on memorizing this chapter of Romans, I saw something, which can be best understood by that parable of the shepherd that left the 99 to save that one lost sheep. That God is willing to temporarily lose, or sacrifice that which he has, to gain that which is currently lost to him. So, did he do with his Son, and so has he done with his people, Israel, also currently known as the Jews. But, even as our Salvation is based upon two immutable things: God has made us a promise, and he cannot lie, so also must we remember that God made promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that in due time he by his Word, must keep. So, know now, that at the appointed time, God will bring his people back to him, that all may know, that God keeps his Word. Amen.
