Today's Verse is Job 28:1
Surely there is a vein for the silver,
And a place for gold where they fine it.
God has set a place where some things that are valued can be found, and in the following discourse such things that most all value are listed, but then compared to that which ought to be valued above all (but there are those that beguiled by these others, fail to favor the best) and the difficulty in obtaining it. What is this thing that is to be more desired than gold, or precious stones? Even the Wisdom that comes from God, and can only be obtained by Fearing the Lord, and obeying him, that is departing from evil, which is understanding. Amen.
