Today's Verse is Revelation 18:4
Come out of her, my people,
That ye be not partakers of her sins,
And that ye receive not of her plagues.
Do you know that before God could judge Sodom and Gomorrah and the other cities of the plain, that he had to force Lot to leave? And even the city that was spared for Lot’s sake, displayed no gratitude that they were spared? Know you not that we have been called to be Holy, even as he is Holy? And that we that are in Jesus Christ are sanctified? What is it to be sanctified, if not to be Holy? And what is it to be Holy? The simplest definition of Holy is separated. Separated from sin, separated from the world. And while we are in the world we are not to be identified with the world, and there are times when we need to depart, even as Jesus Christ had commanded us, But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another[.] For there comes a time when they are no longer affected by us, and lest we be affected of them we are to leave, that God may be free to bring the judgment that is needed. Did you know, that sometimes, such a testimony is enough to bring a few with you even as you leave? For our job is not to reform, but to bring the Good News, even the Gospel to those that will hear, and to teach them sound Doctrine that they with us might walk pleasing to our God. Amen.
To God be the Glory
