Don't Lose Sight Of The Hope You Have In Jesus Christ!

Today's Verse is Job 17:15
And where is now my hope?
As for my hope, who shall see it?

At this point Job is in despair, and he has forgotten the promise of his Saviour, and his “friend” choses at this time to remind him of all the things we expect God to do to the wicked, attempting to drive the despair home. This does not have the expected effect, for Job remembers his Hope. He remembers the promise of Resurrection. Do we not now know that when we are Resurrected that we shall also be changed, and our Salvation will then be complete? So that when trials (or as James calls them fiery trials) comes our way, truly let us count it all joy, or as Paul as admonished us: And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also, knowing that tribulation worketh patience; . . . For it is in these trying times that we truly learn of our God and his love for us, For even as he took our Place upon the Cross, he works in us to perfect the image of his Son in us that the world may see, and the world may know of his Love for them, even as he has made known to us his Love to us, not leaving us in our unnatural state. Amen.

To God be the Glory
