Today's verse is Job 40:2
Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him?
He that reproveth God, let him answer it.
Herein lies the first principle: God is Right, by definition. The scoffer and the styptic may disagree, but they disagree to their own hurt. God made all that is, he knows all, even the end from the beginning, and as the maker thereof, It is His to determine Good from Evil, Right from Wrong. The sooner we accept this the better off we shall be. So, if any doubt his Goodness, Look to the Cross, again, if any doubt his Power, Look to the Cross. If any doubt His Holiness, again, Look to the Cross. And finally, all that wish reconciliation with the God of Heaven and Earth, Look to the Cross. Amen.
