Pray

Today's verse is Mark 1:35
And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

Prayer, We have here an example of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, Yea, God himself praying, even beginning his day early, even very early, so that he could pray. If Jesus, himself, figured that he needed to pray, how can we, imperfect and frail that we are, think that we do not need, nor have time to pray? I have seen God answer prayer. I have had God confirm a request without giving any other answer. I have wondered about requests that I have been praying for years. I have been told not to pray for certain things anymore. So, in this day of turmoil and strife, set aside at the beginning of your day, and make your requests known to a Holy and Righteous God, and he will hear, and by his Word he will direct, and from time to time, he will comfort and correct, as he molds and conforms you to his will. Amen.

To God be the Glory
