Today's verse is Ezekiel 36:9
For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown:
For the sin of Israel, and for the stubbornness of those that thought they were the people of God, but wanted nothing to do with God, the promised land was desolate, because of the Judgment of God! But not for long, not forever. For the promises of God cannot be broken, and for his name’s sake God will lift his people up and establish them once again into the Land he had promised them. This is God’s promise to Israel, and to Israel his promise will be fulfilled. Now, note the end of the verse, that the land will be tilled and sown, and consider that one of the blessing God gives, is the ability to provide for one’s self. Yet, not all of God’s people today is of the tribe of Israel, but as he has promised Israel, so too, has he made promises to all that follow him, and as he will fill his promised to Abraham, so will he fulfill his promises to you who have trusted him. Amen.
To God be the Glory
