The Last Dispensation

Today's verse is Revelation 20:4
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Paul taught us that the law was given, not because God expected us to obey it, but so we could know that we could not. This verse above marks the beginning of the last dispensation before Eternity, and as the Law taught us that we need a Savior, this period teaches us that we have no one else to blame but ourselves, that even without a tempter, too many will turn aside, even after seeing God reign personally for a thousand years. Who knows what the complaint will be then? But it will not be, “God cannot be all Good, and all powerful,” for the evidence of Both with be abundantly present. However, whatever their complaint will be, as with the current complaint, they will be shown their error at the final Judgment, when every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess, “Jesus Christ is Lord!” So why wait, bow before him now, and receive the gift that proves his Goodness, and his Righteousness, which he provided when He died upon the Cross, enabling all that will come to him to be redeemed from their wicked ways, and given the Freedom to live righteously and Godly in this present world. Amen.
