Your Disability, God's Glory

Today's verse is John 9:2-3
And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

While all evil in this world is here because of sin, because our Father Adam sinned, not all ill that has happened to us is from our own sin, or directly from the sin of those about us. But, and if you may have some disability, for they come in all forms, some easily seen as this man that was born blind, some not, you can be sure, that if you are willing to give it to God, he is not only able, but he is willing to enable you to overcome it. To some that may mean full healing, such as this blind man. To others, as God’s Grace was sufficient for Paul and his thorn, so too will it be for you, but God will do great things with you, that if not for him would be impossible because of your disability. Are you willing to be God’s vessel? Are you willing to be used of God for his Glory? Stop being bitter of your handicap, and surrender to God, allow him to do as he would with you, and stand amazed at what he does. Selah [Think on this.] Amen.

To God be the Glory
