This verse commands us to paid heed, to remember, and to obey all of the Word of God, both the old, and the new testaments. There is not a jot, nor a tittle that is of no importance, though we may not understand it today. God’s Word was given to us that we might continue to learn and then know God, the one that had made us. The one that sent his only begotten Son to take our place, receiving the judgment we deserve. It tells us why God made us, and what his purpose for us is. It tells us how God will judge, and how we might escape that judgement. It tells us what horrors he has prepared for those that reject him, and the unimaginable splendor that we that know him will find in his presence. So, let us make his Word more precious to us then our necessary food, and rejoice in the God that Loves us. Amen.
To God be the Glory
Scott
