“For his mercy endureth for ever.” In this Psalm we are given many things with this phrase interjected through out. First we are reminded of God’s creative works, then of God’s judgment of Egypt, and his rescue of Israel. Even Israel’s season wandering in the wilderness, was born of mercy. Then again, of his judgment of the peoples of the land of Canaan that he might give the land to his own people. Then finally, it is recognized that he provides provision to all. All of this is born of his mercy, and he is ever merciful, extending it to all of mankind, and it is again your choice in the form that it takes. Why not receive it, in its most desirable form by trusting and obeying him who delivers his own to everlasting life? Selah [Think on this.] Amen.
To God be the Glory
