This is a thing that we have willfully forgotten, that God is a God of Judgment, as well as a God of Forgiveness. Paul said, “Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men[.]” God is truly terrible, and one to not just to be feared, but terrified of. But if God did not forgive, then what would it matter, “let us eat and drink and make merry, for tomorrow we die.” But God does forgive, and there is a way not to receive the worst, and if we look to Jesus Christ, though we may suffer today, none of it will compare to the Glory that we shall see and experience in the tomorrow, and while today, it is never tomorrow, This tomorrow will surly arrive. So let us not forget, that as God is Good, yea very Good, He is also terrible beyond imaging, but through Jesus Christ, we can escape the worst of the terror, and experience his goodness, even today, in the midst of the terror. Amen.
To God be the Glory
