Too Late?

Today's verse is Jeremiah 23:6
In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Even when judgment is sure, when all about seems dark, and God has declared that there is no deliverance, there is this: His Name is “THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.” While the consequence of our sins may abide here on Earth, if we recognize that God hath provided a way, and we accept that gift, he will swap out our unrighteousness, and give unto us his, and when we then come before him, we will not be found as we are, unrighteous, but his Son will stand before us, and instead of us, he will see him who is Righteous, and we will gain entry into his presence to live forevermore. But, why wait till that day? It is so much better to enjoy his Richness even now, when we find his service so sweet. Selah [Think on this.] Amen.

To God be the Glory
