I write today to a narrow group of people, but if you are not currently in this group, read on, for you may find yourself as one of them one day. This is written to those that have accepted Jesus as their Savior, yet have walked astray, and found yourself apparently estranged from God, this verse is for you. For as Israel had constantly departed from God, God never departed from them. He may have judged them, and chastened them, but he never left them, nor did he ever forsake them, and there is truly coming a day when he will fully restore them to their prominent position. This too, will he do to, and for you. You may be chastened today, but if you forsake your intransigent ways today, in the morrow, that is to say, in due time, as he has promised to restore Israel, so also he will restore you, even making all your time away from him not in vain. Imagine that, Selah. [Think on this.] Amen.
To God be the Glory
Scott
