Glorying in Triblulations

Today's verse is Romans 5:3-5
     And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
     And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
     And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

As Christians, or followers of Jesus Christ, we are not to try to avoid those times which are undesirable, but to glory in them. In others words, to relish them. For by them we learn of our God, and his power, even his love for us and those around us. These tribulations are there that we might grow in the knowledge of God. Thankfully we are not to seek them out, but as they come, give God thanks and look forward to how God will open your eyes in ways you never even dreamed was possible. Amen.

To God be the Glory
Scott
