Clear Direction

Today's verse is Acts 23:11
And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome.

Paul was to enter into a troubling time. As he was heading to this day, he received warning, and now as the day has come, he again receives God’s clear direction on what God intends to do. We may not have the Savior come to us to tell as what he intends, but we may be sure that one way or another, he will let us know what he is doing. Most of the time it will be through his Word, for by his Word he has already promised that he will be with us, and that our labor will not be in vain. Amen.
