Dealing with Personal Sin
Today's verse is Acts 24:21
Except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day.
Paul recognizes here that his attempt to divide and cause a ruckus, was not for the best, and confesses his error before the Judge. As we can see Paul was not perfect, yet he is considered by many to be the greatest Christian to have ever lived. Yet he, himself, described himself as the chiefest of sinners. Such is as we are that follow Christ, for our salvation is not yet complete, and until that day of completion we have a Savior who still loves us and is ready to cleanse us from all unrighteousness when we confess it. Private sins, privately, and as Paul did here public sins publicly. Amen.
To God be the Glory
